Saint Henry Morse, Catholic priest who was executed in England, best known as ‘The Priest of the Plague’, a creative biographical film presentation useful for classrooms and parishes, includes information about the plague and historical facts.

The historical journey of Catholic missionary priest St. Henry Morse takes us back into England during the reigns of King James I and King Charles I for a fascinating look at his daring determination to administer the outlawed Sacraments to the Catholic faithful despite numerous arrests and banishments.

Saint Henry Morse worked with Westminster’s priest Saint John Southworth especially to the plague victims of 1636 London. This film carefully takes the viewer/listener through St. Henry Morse’s whole journey. The narrative is taken from various biographical documents and accounts. This is a creative way to learn the life and spirituality of St. Henry Morse: The Priest of the Plague with visual aids to help the narrative flow.

The film is suitable for all ages although parental guidance is advised as there are images of Martyrdom. The film is aimed mainly at Catholics with an understanding of the Faith and an appreciation for the spiritual life.
